Easy Spiced Pineapple Pick-Ups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can pineapple chunks
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    6 to 8 whole cloves
    1 stick cinnamon
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, saving 3/4 cup of syrup.
    Set pineapple aside.
    Place syrup, vinegar, sugar, whole cloves and cinnamon stick into a saucepan; simmer for 10 minutes.
    Add pineapple chunks; bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Cool and refrigerate until time to serve.
    Serve on toothpicks.
