Ingredients

1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg or 3 egg yolks
2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Cream butter, adding sugar gradually.
Add egg, unbeaten. Sift flour with salt and baking powder.
Add to mixture, along with almond extract.
