Turtle Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box chocolate cake mix
1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
3/4 c. margarine
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Prepare cake mix as directed.
Pour 1/2 the batter in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt caramels, margarine and milk in pan on low heat; stir constantly. Pour over hot half of baked cake.
Top with chocolate chips and pecans.
Pour remaining cake batter over this.
Put back in oven and bake 20 to 25 minutes.
Requires no icing.
