Butter Baked Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1 c. long grain rice
    1/3 c. oleo
    dash of garlic salt
    1 (14 oz.) can chicken broth or 2 chicken bouillon cubes plus 1 3/4 c. hot water
    parsley
    almonds
Preparation
    Add salt to water.
    Bring to a boil and pour over rice.
    Let stand 30 minutes.
    Rinse rice in cold water and melt oleo in skillet.
    Add rice and cook until oleo is absorbed, 5 minutes. Turn into a 1-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle with garlic salt.
    Pour chicken broth over rice.
    Bake, covered, 45 minutes.
    Add parsley and fluff with fork.
    Sprinkle with almonds.
    Bake 10 minutes longer, uncovered.
