Lemon-Parsley-Clam Sauce For Linguine Masello - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can whole clams
    1/4 c. onion, finely chopped
    1/3 c. extra virgin olive oil
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    1 tsp. lemon zest, grated
    2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Preparation
    Saute onion and garlic in oil and butter over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
    Add clam juice, oregano, salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer until liquid reduces to 1 cup, about 5 more minutes.
    Meanwhile, cook linguine.
    Add clams, parsley, lemon zest and lemon juice to olive oil and clam juice mixture.
    Toss with linguine.
