Mandel Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oil
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    4 eggs (room temperature)
    3 1/2 c. flour
    2 heaping tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla or 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 tsp. orange juice
    1 1/2 c. nuts (walnuts)
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Beat eggs until fluffy and pale.
    Add sugar, oil and flavoring.
    Add dry ingredients and nuts.
    Flour board and shape dough into strips.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes until light golden brown.
    Remove and slice.
    Return to oven and crisp, 5 to 10 minutes on each side.
