"Maque Choux" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 ears cleaned corn
    1/2 c. onion
    1/2 c. bell pepper
    1/2 c. peeled tomatoes
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. grease
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Clean corn and cut off cob.
    Scrape corn cob with knife to get juice.
    Mix all chopped vegetables and seasonings together.
    Pour in hot grease.
    Lower fire and cook for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
