Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    2 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1 c. chopped pecans
    3 c. chopped fresh apples (Granny Smith or other tart cooking apple)
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Grease and flour a tube pan or Bundt cake pan.
    Sift dry ingredients all together.
    Blend eggs, sugar, vanilla and oil.
    Add sifted dry ingredients.
    Batter will be very stiff.
    Stir in apples and pecans.
    Pour into cake pan.
    Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
    Let cool on rack before removing from pan.
    Keep cake in tightly covered container and it will stay very moist. This cake freezes well.
