Mushroom Salad(France) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
    bibb lettuce
    parsley sprigs
    1 tsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    1/4 tsp. salt
    tomato slices
Preparation
    Clean mushrooms; wash in cold water to which vinegar has been added.
    Dry in a cloth; slice.
    To keep mushrooms from turning black, sprinkle with lemon juice.
    Toss lightly but thoroughly with mixture of mayonnaise, garlic, salt and pepper. Place in refrigerator for 1 or 2 hours; mixture will become moist from juice of mushrooms.
    Stir lightly several times during chilling. Serve on a bed of bibb lettuce and parsley.
    Yields 10 to 12 servings.
