Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. shrimp (boil 1 to 2 minutes for easier peeling)
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, sliced
    1/4 c. salad oil
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    bay leaf
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. chili powder
    3 dashes hot sauce
    1 c. tomato juice
Preparation
    Saute
    onion,
    pepper
    and celery in oil; add flour and stir until
    smooth like gravy.
    Add tomatoes (cut), sauce and seasoning.\tSimmer\t20 minutes.
    Add juice and shrimp.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
