Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. self-rising cornmeal
1 egg
1 small onion, chopped
1 can beer (may not need all of beer)

Preparation

Mix all ingredients to a texture that can be formed into balls.
Let set approximately 1 hour before frying in fish grease. Form round balls and drop into hot grease.
