Southern Raised Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 package dry yeast
    1 cup buttermilk
    5 Tbsp. cooking oil
    2 1/2 cups flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 cup sugar
Preparation
    Dissolve the yeast in warm milk.
    Add the oil.
    Combine the flour, soda, salt, and sugar.
    Add this mixture to the milk mixture.
    Knead 20 - 30 times.
    Roll out to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut in rounds.
    Butter one round and place another round on top. Cover and let rise.
    Bake at 375 degrees for 12 - 15 minutes.
