Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. self-rising flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/4 c. well-mashed bananas (2 or 3 bananas)
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Sift flour; measure.
Add baking powder, salt and soda.
Cream shortening; add sugar gradually.
Beat until fluffy.
Add eggs and mix until smooth.
Add cinnamon and blend.
Add dry ingredients alternately with mashed bananas, stirring enough to combine thoroughly.
Add nuts.
Turn in greased loaf pan and bake 55 minutes at 350\u00b0.
