Pecan Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. butter
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. plain flour (use 1 c. for coating fruit and nuts)
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    1 lb. candied cherries
    1 lb. pecans
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well with your hands.
    Bake 3 hours at 250\u00b0 in a tube cake pan.
    Line bottom of pan with waxed paper to help keep from sticking.
