Ingredients

1/2 c. soft butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. Carnation milk (evaporated)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
3/4 c. chopped coconut
1 c. chopped English walnuts
1/2 c. finely chopped dates
Preparation

Roll nuts and dates in flour before adding.
Mix all ingredients together.
Drop by rounded teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.\tWhile warm, frost with butter glaze and top each cookie with a walnut half or a red maraschino cherry.
