Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oleo
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. oatmeal
Preparation
    Pour 1 1/4 cup boiling water over oatmeal.
    Let stand for 20 minutes.
    Cream together oleo, brown and white sugar and eggs. Sift together flour, cinnamon, salt and soda. Add the creamed mixture and stir; add the oatmeal last and mix well.
    Pour into loaf pan and bake 30 minutes or until done at 350\u00b0.
    Frost with Caramel Frosting.
