Lemon Snow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small box lemon Jell-O
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. lemon juice
    1 can evaporated milk
    2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O in hot water; let set, but not too stiff.
    Put into bowl and add lemon juice slowly while beating.
    Beat in sugar a little at a time.
    Beat until thick and foamy.
    Beat chilled evaporated milk until stiff.
    Fold in gelatin mixture.
    Put 1 cup of crushed wafers on bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Pour lemon mix in center.
    Top off with wafer crumbs.
    Chill about 3 hours.
