Prize-Winning Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium onions, chopped
    1 large bell pepper, chopped
    2 (8-inch) stalks celery, chopped
    1 Tbsp. jalapeno pepper
    1 (14 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 (3 oz.) bottle chili powder
    1 tsp. cumin
    1 Tbsp. Tabasco sauce
    2 bay leaves
    4 lb. ground chuck
    4 oz. beer
    2 (8 oz.) cans chili beans
    garlic salt to taste
    onion salt to taste
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute onion, bell pepper, celery and jalapeno in a small amount of oil.
    Add the meat and braise.
    Drain.
    Mix in the remaining ingredients.
    Add enough water to cover the top of the mixture. Cook the chili for three hours over a low heat.
