Four Pepper Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 (16 oz.) pkg. mostaccioli or penne macaroni
    salt (optional)
    1 large red pepper
    1 large yellow pepper
    1 green pepper
    1 large onion
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. balsamic or red wine vinegar
    3/4 tsp. dried basil
    1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper
Preparation
    Prepare mostaccioli as label directs, using 2 teaspoons salt. Cut peppers and onions into 1/2-inch wide strips.
