Batter Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. Self Rising Flour
1 1/4 to 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. oil
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1-2 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
Preparation

Preheat well greased iron skillet in 425 degree oven.
Blend all ingredients together, stirring until moistened well.
Pour batter into the greased skillet.
Bake until golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean.
