No Yeast Babka - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, separated
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Mix butter and sugar.
    Add the egg yolks.
    Add the rest of the ingredients.
    Spoon in slowly the beaten egg whites.
    Bake in a 9-inch tube pan for 40 to 45 minutes in a 375\u00b0 oven.
