Grandma Oliver'S Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    6 eggs
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 qt. grape juice (4 c.)
    1 lb. dates
    1 lb. fruit cake mix
    1 lb. citron
    1 lb. orange peel
    1 lb. lemon peel
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. nuts
    1 lb. white raisins
    1 lb. each: red and green pineapple
    1 lb. each: red and green candied cherries
Preparation
    Mix together the eggs and brown sugar; add oil, then add all of the fruit and 1 cup of flour.
    Add the nuts and grape juice and finally the 4 cups of remaining flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Makes several fruit cakes depending on the size of pans used.
