Strawberries And Cream Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
    1 1/2 c. cold water
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding and pie filling mix
    2 c. whipping cream, whipped (1 pt.)
    1 (12 oz.) prepared loaf pound cake, cut into cubes
    4 c. sliced fresh strawberries
    1/2 c. strawberry preserves
    additional fresh strawberries
    slivered almonds
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and water; mix well.
    Add pudding mix; beat until well blended.
    Chill 5 minutes.
    Fold in whipped cream.
    Spoon 2 cups pudding mixture into 4-quart round serving bowl; top with half the cake cubes, half the strawberries, half the preserves and half the remaining pudding mixture.
    Repeat layering, ending with pudding mixture.
    Garnish with additional strawberries and almonds.
    Chill for 4 hours.
