Smothered Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops or lamb
    2 lemons, thinly sliced (unpeeled)
    1 large sweet onion
    1 or 2 green peppers, sliced in rings
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. tomato juice
Preparation
    Place chops in covered skillet.
    Top with lemon slices, onion, green pepper rings and salt.
    Pour tomato juice over all.
    Simmer until done.
    Serve with rice or mashed potatoes and tossed salad. Makes 6 servings.
