Ingredients

4 c. + 4 Tbsp. flour
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. Wesson oil
1 c. margarine
2 eggs
white or colored sugar (to decorate)
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream sugars and margarine.
Add eggs; beat well.
Add oil. Mix in dry ingredients.
Refrigerate at least one hour or more is better.
Drop by spoonfuls and roll in balls to make perfectly round cookies.
Dip bottom of glass in sugar and press down to flatten.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until brown on edges, 10 to 12 minutes. Makes several dozen.
