Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 (No. 303) can fruit cocktail with juice
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix
    together
    flour,
    sugar, egg, soda and fruit cocktail. After
    mixing
    all
    together,
    pour
    into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix
    brown
    sugar and nuts, sprinkle over cake. Bake in 350\u00b0
    oven
    for
    40 minutes.
    Let cook, then place in refrigerator for several hours.
    Cut in squares and serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
