Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/3 c. powdered sugar
    1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar. Gradually work flour into creamed mixture, then stir in vanilla and nuts. Form into small balls. Cook on ungreased sheet in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Cool slightly and roll in powdered sugar.
    Makes 5 or 6 dozen.
