Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oysters per serving desired, shucked
    1 c. milk per serving
    1/2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Shuck oysters.
    Wash in fresh water.
    (Be sure there are no pieces of oyster shell remaining.)
    Let oyster juice settle.
    Cook oysters gently in water with some oyster juice for 3 minutes or until gills curl.
