Pecan Crispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. butter or shortening
    2 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Thoroughly cream shortening, butter and sugar; add eggs and beat well.
    Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add nuts.
    Drop from teaspoon about 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Makes five dozen.
