Hot-Milk Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In small saucepan, heat milk until it bubbles around edges of pan.
    Remove from heat; set aside.
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
    Set aside.
    Beat eggs until thick and lemon-colored. Gradually add sugar, beating until mixture is smooth and well blended, about 5 minutes.
    At low speed (mixer) blend in flour mixture until smooth.
    Add warm milk and vanilla, beating just until combined.
    Bake in two 8-inch round pans, 9 x 9-inch pan or 24 cupcake tins at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
