Butterscotch Nut Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Melt butter in a saucepan.
Remove from heat; blend in sugar. Add eggs one at a time.
Beat well after each.
Add vanilla.
Sift together flour and baking powder.
Add all at once.
Stir to mix thoroughly.
Gently stir in chopped nuts.
Turn into greased oblong pan, 13 x 9 x 2-inches.
Spread dough evenly with spatula. Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
Don't overbake.
Cool cookies in pan.
If desired, drizzle with glaze.
