Grandmother'S Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. sour cream
    6 eggs, separated
Preparation
    Sift flour.
    Blend with soda.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time.
    Stir in sour cream; add flour and soda to creamed mixture.
    Beat egg whites stiff and fold in.
    Bake in large, greased and floured pans.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours. Does not need frosting.
