Love Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter, creamed
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs, separated
2 c. flour (all-purpose)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. cocoa
1 1/4 c. milk
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla in bowl.
Beat in egg yolks, one at a time.
Sift in flour, salt, soda, baking powder and cocoa alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Pour into two greased and floured heart shaped cake pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Decorate with pink icing and border with chocolate candy kisses.
Yields 16 servings.
