"Handed-Down" Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1/2 c. liquid (1/4 c. water and 1/4 c. milk)
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients; cut in shortening.
Add liquid.
Roll on floured board until paper thin.
Cut into smallest strips possible.
Drop into kettle of stewed chicken.
Cover and cook 8 to 10 minutes.
