Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Duncan Hines butter cake mix
    5 c. milk
    2 large pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    4 bananas
    2 large cans crushed pineapple
    2 cans strawberry or cherry pie filling
    1 (7 oz.) bag coconut
    1 large Cool Whip
    pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Bake cake according to directions in 2 layers.
    Break 1 cake layer in small pieces in bottom of punch bowl.
    Mix pudding with milk.
    Put 1/2 of pudding on first layer of cake.
    Slice 2 bananas on pudding, 1 can of pineapple, 1 can of pie filling and 1/2 of coconut.
    Repeat all layers.
    Put Cool Whip on top.
    Sprinkle with coconut and nuts.
    Refrigerate overnight.
