Ingredients

3 lb. okra
1 qt. white vinegar
1 qt. water
1/3 c. canning salt
2 tsp. dill seed
garlic cloves
crushed red pepper
Preparation

Sterilize jars and pack okra in tightly.
Put 1 clove of garlic and 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper to a jar.
Put water, vinegar, salt and dill seed in pan.
Bring to a boil for 3 minutes, then pour over okra in jars.
Place jars in hot water and let sit until the tops seal.
