Easy Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder and mix with sugar.
    Stir in milk to make batter.
    Melt 1/2 cup butter in 8 x 8 x 2-inch deep baking pan.
    Pour batter over melted butter and do not stir. Pour 2 1/2 cups of your favorite fruit, mixed with 1 cup sugar over batter.
    Bake 3/4 hour at 425\u00b0.
    Serve either hot or cold.
