Jackie'S Cream Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. Colonial granulated sugar
    1/4 lb. butter
    2 cans Pet evaporated milk
    2 lb. shelled pecan halves
    essence of vanilla
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, put the sugar on medium heat for about 5 minutes until sugar starts to melt; stir constantly.
    Add Pet milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, for about 25 to 30 minutes. When mixture begins to thicken, add butter, pecans and vanilla. Test mixture in cold water to see if ready to spoon out onto greased area (counter or tabletop).
    Need a large area.
    Use tablespoon.
