Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. cornmeal
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
6 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
2 c. buttermilk

Preparation

Place all ingredients in large bowl and mix well.
Dip from teaspoon into hot fat and fry until brown on both sides.
