Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. flour, sifted
2 c. milk
2 egg yolks, beaten
1/3 c. cocoa
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 pie shell, baked (optional)
whipped topping (optional)
Preparation

In the top of a double boiler, put sugar, salt and flour. Stir in 1/3 cup milk (remainder to be used later) and beaten egg yolks.
Mix until well blended.
Add remaining milk and cocoa. Cook, until thick, stirring constantly.
