Spiced Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    3 c. pecans or walnut halves
Preparation
    Combine 4 ingredients in saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Remove from heat; stir in vanilla, salt and add nuts.
    Pour on lightly buttered baking sheet; cool.
    Separate into bite sized pieces.
    Store in an airtight container.
    Makes 3 1/2 to 4 cups.
