Rhubarb Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. 1-inch rhubarb pieces
1/2 c. water
3/4 or 1 c. sugar
Preparation

Heat sugar and water to boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat.
Add rhubarb.
Simmer, uncovered, until rhubarb is tender and slightly transparent, about 10 minutes.
If desired, add a few drops of red food coloring.
Serves 5.
