Parker House Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. scalded sweet milk
3 Tbsp. shortening or butter
yeast cake
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
3 c. plain flour
Preparation

Scald sweet milk; add shortening or butter.
Let cool to lukewarm.
Add yeast cake dissolved in warm water.
Add 3 tablespoons of sugar, 2 tablespoons of salt and 3 cups of plain flour; beat thoroughly.
Let rise to double in bulk.
Add flour to make dough.
Make out rolls.
Let rise, then bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 until golden brown.
