Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    sugar
Preparation
    Put butter and vanilla in bowl.
    Attach bowl and flat beater. Turn to speed 6 and cream until smooth, 2 minutes.
    Gradually add 3/4 cup sugar for 30 seconds; continue beating for 1 minute.
    Add eggs and beat 30 seconds.
    Scrape bowl.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Do stir speed and gradually add dry ingredients until mixed, 1 minute.
