Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    3/4 c. peanut butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Boil sugar and milk, without stirring, to 234\u00b0 or until mixture forms a soft ball.
    Remove from heat; cool slightly.
    Add peanut butter, vanilla and salt.
    Beat until it just loses its gloss.
    Spread into buttered pan.
    Cut into squares.
    Makes 1 1/2 pounds of fudge.
