Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut or nuts
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
4 c. oatmeal
1 c. white flour
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

Cream
sugars,
butter,
eggs
and
vanilla.
Add
dry ingredients, mixing
with
spoon.
Form into long rolls, about 2-inches
in
diameter
and
place
in refrigerator overnight. Rolls should be formed on wax paper.
If you want to keep them longer in the fridge, use plastic bag to keep them from drying out.
Slice
and
place
on
cookie sheets when ready to bake. Bake at 375\u00b0 until light brown on low rack.
