Italian Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) chicken, cut up
    2 Tbsp. oil
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    In paper or plastic bag, combine all ingredients, except chicken.
    Add chicken, a few pieces at a time and shake to coat evenly.
    Heat oil in 12-inch skillet.
    Place meaty pieces toward center and remaining pieces around the edges.
    Cook, uncovered, over medium-low heat for 50 to 55 minutes or until chicken is tender, turning occasionally.
    Drain on paper towels.
