Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. fat, melted
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
    Combine egg, milk, and fat.
    Add to the dry ingredients all at once, stirring only enough to moisten.
    Fill greased muffin pans 2/3-full.
    Bake at 400\u00b0
    (hot oven) about 20 minutes.
    Yields: about 12 medium sized muffins.
