Blueberry Buckle - cooking recipe

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening, softened
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. blueberries
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. oleo
Preparation

Mix 3/4 cup sugar, shortening and egg.
Stir in milk.
Add 2 cups flour and baking powder; blend until smooth.
Fold in berries.
Pour into a 9-inch square pan which has been greased.
