Persimmon Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1c. persimmon pulp
    1c. chopped nuts
    1c. raisins or dates
    1 c. butter or 3/4 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla flavor
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Add soda to pulp.
    Stir in quickly all other ingredients.
    Drop teaspoonful on baking sheet.
    Bake in slow oven (350\u00b0) until brown.
